SBI offers its customers an option to use their mobiles for performing financial transactions from their bank accounts using UPI (Unified Payments Interface). This facility is available to all SBI customers who can use UPI for performing financial transactions on mobile.


As per SBI UPI policy you must create your own SBI UPI PIN before performing any transaction. Once your UPI PIN is generated, if you want to change your PIN then you can use our mobile app. Changing State Bank of India UPI PIN is very easy and you can do it online via our mobile app.


After downloading our app, you can enter your existing SBI UPI PIN and then enter the new PIN that you want to create. Your State Bank of India UPI PIN will be changed and updated with your bank.


After changing UPI PIN you can perform following types of transactions:
  1. Check account balance
  2. Instant fund transfer to anyone in India in real-time. Transfer upto Rs. 1,00,000 per day
  3. Mobile recharge & mobile post-paid bill payment
  4. DTH recharge
  5. Electricity bill payment
  6. Gas bill payment
  7. Credit card bill payment
  8. Mediclaim (Health Insurance) premium payment
  9. Buy insurance
  10. Donate money
  11. Book fixed deposit

How to change your SBI UPI PIN:

  1. Download Cointab app for Android or iPhone
  2. Install app using mobile number which is registered in your SBI account
  3. Select SBI for BHIM registration
  4. All your State Bank of India accounts will be registered and activated for BHIM services
  5. Select Change SBI UPI PIN option
  6. Enter your current UPI PIN
  7. Enter new UPI PIN you want to set
  8. Confirm UPI PIN again
  9. Your new UPI PIN will be registered with SBI and you can now use your new UPI PIN to perform financial transactions on your mobile

You have now easily changed your State Bank of India UPI PIN and can immediately initiate any type of banking transactions like account balance check, transfer money to anyone in India, payments, recharge, bill payment, etc.

SBI enables you to change your UPI PIN online. In the app select Change UPI PIN option and then proceed to change your PIN. Your new UPI PIN will be registered in SBI and you can start using it immediately.

You can change UPI PIN whenever required. As it is an online service which works 24x7, you can change State Bank of India UPI PIN from the comfort of your home whenever you need. And as long as you keep your UPI PIN secure, your bank accounts will remain 100% safe.

Mandatory for each transaction

Use of UPI PIN is mandatory for each transaction. This is to safeguard your account so that only you perform transactions from your SBI accounts. Transactions will be successful only if you enter your correct UPI PIN, else they will be considered as failures.

Reset SBI UPI PIN

In case you have forgotten your State Bank of India UPI PIN then using our mobile app you can reset and create a new UPI PIN. This is again an online service wherein you can change your PIN whenever required.

  2. To use State Bank of India BHIM services, you have to create a new UPI PIN using your debit card
  3. To perform financial transactions you have to use your SBI UPI PIN. Without this PIN, no transaction will go through
  4. You can also set up app password so that no one can even open the app without knowing your app password
  5. You can also create a PIN or pattern lock for your phone so that no one can open your mobile

Timing of Change UPI PIN Service

  • You can use SBI UPI services on all days, including Saturday and Sunday
  • SBI BHIM can be used at night as well
  • As banking is very crucial, you can use the UPI facility even on bank holidays and public holidays
  • You can use the BHIM services throughout the year

Eligibility for using UPI PIN Change Service

To use SBI Change UPI PIN service you have to meet the following requirements:

  • You should have a savings or current account with SBI
  • Your mobile number should be registered with State Bank of India
  • You should have Android or iPhone mobile phone
  • You should have an internet connection either via SIM card or WiFi

Change UPI PIN Service Limitations

Following are the limitations of SBI Change UPI PIN service:

  • It will only work if your mobile number is registered with SBI
  • It will not work without Android or iPhone mobile phone
  • It will not work without internet connection
  • You can only transfer upto Rs. 1,00,000 per day per State Bank of India account under UPI facility
